Gyaan: Why Chrome is not that hot

I dunno if Google really cares about my opinion, but I have to say what I have to say. The fact of the matter is, I don't rate Chrome, that highly. That's because it doesn't gel at all with a name like Google. The two together, sound like oil and water. As Avi put it succinctly, they might as well have called it Google Browser or GBrowse. Another thing that irks me is Chrome doesn't give the product any iota of branding advantage vis-a-vis competition. Check this analysis to appreciate my point better...



Don't you see it? The only brand that Chrome beats is IE. And that's not saying much.
